While students across NYC were off school on November 11th, Presidents Day, we packed up a bus full of our eager Armory College Prep students. Our destination? Two incredible institutions of higher learning: Princeton University and Haverford College!

These powerhouses of academia aren't just fancy names. Both Princeton and Haverford offer top-notch academics, with professors who are rockstars in their fields, and iconic campuses that have made appearances on the big screen.

But sometimes, hearing about college can feel a million miles away. That's why these trips are SO valuable. Our students were able to receive tours led by current college students, peeks into classrooms and labs that buzz with creativity, and ate at a cafeteria where they might be hanging out in a few short years.

Our students asked insightful questions and soaked up the college atmosphere like sponges.

Here at Armory College Prep, we're passionate about giving our young people every advantage. These college trips, (we typically take four a year!), are all about widening perspectives and planting those college seeds early.
