On Track to Lead: CityTrack & Little Feet Celebrate Real Leaders Day

On Monday, January 27, student-athletes in CityTrack (grades 6-8) and Little Feet (grades 3-5) programs celebrated Real Leaders Day at The Armory, a themed track practice recognizing leadership in the community. Children received t-shirts that read “We The Children” at the beginning of practice. Exercises concluded with advice about leadership and cooperation from Manhattan Deputy Borough President Aldrin Rafael Bonilla and Allison James, local Council Member's Director of Education and Environmental Policy. Each participant left with a pocket-sized, children’s edition of the constitution as well as a snack.
