Our Community Programs
Education, fitness, and family fun at a world-class facility
The Armory Foundation is committed to celebrating and welcoming the Washington Heights, Inwood and Harlem communities. To that end, we offer a number of programs and initiatives:
CityTrack and Little Feet presented by NYRR
The Armory Foundation offers two youth track and field programs for students in grades 2-8 who go to school or live in the Washington Heights, Inwood, and Harlem communities of NYC.
CityTrack is designed for middle school students to learn and enhance their running, jumping, and throwing skills.
Little Feet presented by NYRR engages 2nd, 3rd, 4th and 5th graders to have fun and enjoy the sensation of movement through track & field and related activities. It enables elementary students to develop healthy exercise habits.
Great Minds
Ignite your child's passion for learning! Our Great Minds program offers a stimulating environment where students in grades 4-8 can explore STEAM principles, develop critical thinking skills, and prepare for a successful future. Through engaging activities and hands-on projects, our students build a strong foundation in science, technology, engineering, arts, and math. Join us and discover the joy of learning together!
Great Minds is open for applications from children in grades 4-8 who participate in the Little Feet and CityTrack programs. For more information, including scheduling, please visit the page linked below or call 212.923-1803 x7024.
