The twice-annual Armory Track & Field Camp is led by professional athletes and local NYC coaching legends as they help high school athletes develop fundamental skills. The camp is broken into two sessions, allowing participants to stay for the entire day or half the day. This year's Armory Camp welcomed a handful of new coaches eager to share their wisdom. As the day progressed, the coaches opened up to the athletes, sharing first-person experiences and techniques that have helped them throughout their careers. These special moments are part of what makes this camp so highly anticipated and memorable, and it is an incredible opportunity to be given hands on coaching with some of the best athletes in the world.
Some of the coaches at this year's camp included the 2022 US 100m national champion Melissa Jefferson, and the 2023 World Championship 110m hurdles bronze medalist Daniel Roberts. Ollie Hoare, the 2022 Wanamaker Mile champion at the Millrose Games, also returned to The Armory to coach for the day.
