Real Friends Day at The Armory

Celebrating the Bonds of Friendship and the Power of Guide Dogs

Every year at CityTrack and Little Feet, we celebrate Real Friends by welcoming an organization that fosters special friendships between those with vision loss and  guide dogs. Over the last 60 years, Guiding Eyes for the Blind has trained over 10,000 guide dog teams and has helped those with vision loss or blindness find greater independence.

What better way is there to celebrate Real Friends, than to introduce our young athletes to some of these dogs and trainers?

The event was a huge success, with the kids getting to learn about guide dogs and meet the trainers. It was a heartwarming experience for everyone involved, and a great reminder of the power of friendship.
