Just when we thought things couldn’t get any better we end up at The Fencers club located on 20 W 33rd St, New York, NY. We had the privilege to fence in a state of the art facility, where we competed on a piste, which is 14m long and 1.5m-2m wide, as well as wear a lamé, an electrically conductive garment worn by foil and sabre fencers that is worn over the scoring area for each fencing sword type. Two of our students even had the chance to go head-to-head with our amazing coaches. This unique experience has taught us valuable skills and showed us what it takes to be a competitive fencer. Thank you for having us!
