CUIMC Team Relay Marathon Circles Back to Support Programming
Fifty-five teams (376 participants!) signed up to run 26.2 miles each on The Armory’s track for the CUIMC Team Relay Marathon Presented by NYRR on Friday, April 29th and Saturday, April 30th. That’s 211 laps per team! Proceeds from registration and sponsorship will benefit Armory College Prep and our youth programming.
Highlights
The fastest time of the day was clocked by Central Park Track Club Tracksmith, finishing their 26.2 miles in 2:27:39. (Fun Fact: CPTC ran the fastest overall time once again, after setting the overall event record of 2:09:43 in 2019.) They bested 2:30 Project, who narrowly achieved their goal with a finishing time of 2:29:19, setting a new Grand Masters record (Ages 50+) in the process.

College/University/School Men's 6-person Team: CRC (3:35:34)
Medical & Healthcare Men's 4-person Team: The Runs (3:22:22)
Medical & Healthcare Women's 8-person Team: We Are CUIMC (4:32:58)
Open Men's 4-person Team: Brooklyn Flyers (2:51:36)
TwoSigma has officially participated in every Team Relay Marathon since 2016!
A whopping seven KPMG teams participated in this year’s event!
Central Park Track Club Tracksmith ran home with the fastest time of the day!
Columbia University Irving Medical Center, the title sponsor of the event, sent a high-energy team to tackle 26.2 miles on our track!
Alumni and current students of the Armory College Prep High School Program attended the event on Friday and Saturday.
