Bringing Robotics to The Armory
“I challenge you to find a child who isn’t interested in robotics. Today children are born into a world where technology is intertwined in every part of their lives and robotics serves as a natural connection between science, creativity, and problem solving. Robotics appeals to their curiosity and engages students in a unique way.”
The Armory has launched a robotics program for 80 students who run in the CityTrack & Little Feet programs. The students will participate in First Lego League competitions which will challenge them to collaborate, build, test and program an autonomous robot using Lego Mindstorms technology. This year’s challenge is themed around space travel and encourages students to problem-solve real life issues.
