Bringing mastery-based learning to “every student in the world”
Bringing mastery-based learning to “every student in the world” -
Chris Vaios, our Director of Academic Achievement, attended the annual Khan Academy Advocates’ Convention from October 28-30th in California. The 3-day program brought thirty lead advocates from around the world to Khan Academy’s headquarters to discuss their initiatives and share their experiences in developing the best possible learning outcomes for students and teachers around the world. The Armory College Prep program has been using Khan Aacdemy’s program and platform since 2014. The program allows our students to strengthen their foundational skills in Math and English, helping them achieve mastery through a self-paced practice and coaching intervention that enables the best possible learning experience. Chris has been a member of Khan Academy’s global initiative and a lead advocate for Greece since 2010.
