The Armory Foundation Featured in Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons Magazine

We are thrilled to announce that The Armory Foundation was recently featured in a six-page spread of Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons' winter 2024/2025 magazine titled "Changing the Face of Aging."

The article highlights our Seniors AIM High program, a collaborative effort between The Armory Foundation and Columbia University Irving Medical Center designed to improve the health and well-being of residents over 600 in Washington Heights, Inwood, Harlem, and the South Bronx.

The feature details the program's success in engaging over participants in weekly exercise classes like boxing, yoga, and Zumba. It also mentions informative talks by medical professionals on topics such as diabetes screening and heart-healthy meal preparation.

We are proud to offer the Seniors AIM High and collaborate with Columbia University Irving Medical Center to create a program that encourages physical activity, preventative care education, and a sense of community for our senior neighbors.
