Armory College Prep Congratulates Class of 2021

Congratulations, Seniors!

The Armory Foundation admires the persistence of our Armory College Prep High School Program students throughout the 2020-2021 school year. Upon the conclusion of our on-site 2020 summer programming, our high school students transitioned to remote group and individual sessions for the academic year. During Covid-19, this was the best way to accommodate our students living and attending hybrid schooling in different boroughs.

We are especially proud of our graduating seniors. The class of 2021 has devoted countless hours to our program; this past school year alone, seniors recorded an average of 150 hours each toward college essay writing and school/scholarship applications, plus an additional 75 hours devoted to test prep and academic subject work.

Altogether, ACP seniors were accepted to 74 colleges in 2021. This marks the 5th consecutive year that 100% of ACP’s senior class has been accepted to 4-year colleges.

Thank you to our ACP alumni, who have joined our remote sessions to discuss navigating college and the application process; and to our supporters, all of whom make our program possible.

We excitedly await the return of our high school students for this summer’s on-site programming. To our graduating class: this is a not “goodbye,” but rather “see you as an alumni!” Congratulations!
