Bassett Thompson Awarded Bruce MacDonald Lifetime Service Award

On February 23, 2020, USATF-Long Island honored The Armory’s Director of Track & Field Bassett Thompson with the 2019 Bruce MacDonald Lifetime Service Award.

Thompson’s 30 years of contributions to athletics in Long Island and New York City as a coach, official, and administrator earned him this recognition.

USATF-Long Island Director Alex J. Cuozzo presented the award.
